Ok so I had a 4inch lift on my truck 99 SD. A few years back I bought 2 inch shackle from RCD and 6inch block from Donahue Racing. I just put them on this past weekend. My question is; do I need an adjustable track bar or will the stock one work? There is already a bracket for the bar from the 4 inch lift. Up on the lift the bar almost lines up, it is about an inch off. Will the weight of the truck line the bar up? I have to get sway bar endlinks also so if anyone has any tips/tricks to make your own instead of buying them I am all ears. Trying to save a little coin. So three questions actually. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
i had the same issue. i have a 01 f-350 4x4 with a leveling kit, dident quite level it out so i made some shackels. went to instal them and noticed that i will have to figure out a track bar mount or longer bar ???? any help
Well I pretty much answered my own question today. Got to the shop and started to finesse it. No joy. Looks like I am gonna have to get the adjustable torque bar. I already knew the sway bar endlinks were gonna have to be purchased but I was hoping to not have to buy a new torque arm. Oh well.
Wuttrd sounds like the same issue as me. You should be able to get a track bar mount so the torque bar will fit.
thanks for the info i will check into a mount or adjustable track bar. the leveling kit on a stock sus does not come with an adjustible track bar or mount.
