NEED 4x4 HELP!!!!

NEED 4x4 HELP!!!!
I was having trouble out of a vacume valve, I believe it was called the IWE valve, I replaced it and now the 4-wd light won't even come on when I engage it on the dash, could this be something as easy as a fuse or do I have major problems? Any help would be appreciated!
