Alright guys, I am getting tired of clicking on "texas chapter" and seeing the same posts here, with no new replies!!! Come on guys.....lets start posting in here!
Well now, my buddy and I just installed the better part of an auto to manual tranny conversion. We are going from the c6 to the np435. Tranny is in, new column and new pedal assembly. When I sober up in the morning I will install the np208 and the rest of the drivelne.

Been out hunting for a good part of the day. I saw a real nice 6 point yesterday mornin but didnt take the shot. Didnt see anything yesterday eavnin and just a few doe this mornin. Keepin my fingers crossed for that big ol trophy buck I hope to see this eavnin
I'd probly be just as willing to take it off ur hands if that C6 is in better condition than mine is. I think mine just has some minor problems but I know next to nothing about tranny's and it just serves to frustrate me.
Has anyone honestly ever been so drunk they can't remember what they did? I've never forgotten anything that I've done when I was drinking. Unfortunately, no one else forgot either. I will never play truth or dare again!
Hey, what do you do with them once you shoot them? Do you jerk any of the meat? I know lots of people, myself included, that love venison jerky but no I know hunts. I won't do it or go with someone becuz I can't stand guns but it doesn't bother me if someone else does. People around here pay good for venison jerky.
Thanx!

I jerky some and Summer Sausage some. I usualy give at least half of my kills to 'Hunters For The Hungry". It's a good program that hunters can give their kills to, they inturn give it to families in need of help feeding themselvs.
Hey that's a really cool thing to do. I didn't know they had such a thing as that. It's kinda like the program that allows people with really long hair to donate it to wigs for cancer patients. I've done it 2x's now. It takes so long to grow it out long enough to where it will be enough for a wig and I rarely curl it and never color it so it doesn't destroy the hair becuz they can't use all of it then either. It's a good program.
Thanx!

Hey folks, I'm finaly backe up on the net and able to check some of the posts again. I got lucky and ended up in Seoul after being sent two two tiny outposts after first getting to Korea. In answer to the question of getting rid of the C6 it is now in storage in killeen. When I get back it is going into my second 84 Bronco. I'm yanking the 300 and puting in a spare 351w and putting the np435 that is in it into the 86 f250. That will be the first major job done to the 250 since the new body and wiring harness. After I put the Bronco together with the c6/351w combo and adding a/c it goes on the market.
On a side note the tranny swap went very well in the brown Bronco. Soon after the swap I got to move to Korea so I moved the family up to my father in laws in Conniticut. The truck handled great.
Unfortunatly for a Ford fanatic the only car I could get cheap here was a Kia ($200) and the apartments are owned by Hyundai. Is there no justice in the world?
