Longer To Start

I finally tried synthetic (Rotella 5-40) and shortly afterward I began experiencing a longer crank time. It isn't real bad, going from about 3 seconds to less than ten seconds, but was wondering if that is normal. Restarting after it has run is instantaneous still so it sounds like it may be taking longer to build enough pressure in the HPOP for the injectors.

Best I can tell it is the original. I did put a new flywheel on about five months ago, it wasn't bad but the motor was out and a good time to do it since there was some wear on it.

While putting in my cip I found why it was taking longer to start ... turns out I was running on only one battery. The positive terminal on the passenger side wasn't making good contact and when I went to put the negative back on that side first, the dome light didn't come on. Good thing I switched to synthetic oil and had new batteries. Starts like it used to now!
