Transfer Case Rebuild
Anyone done one? I think the front output shaft bearing is out in mine (BW 1356 f-250). Any idea how difficult it is? Any thing to worry about?
Would it be worth it to go get a junk yard 1356 from an F-350 to get the aluminum front case half and the PTO?

If you are gonna get one for parts might as well just get one and put it in instead of the rebuild. Would be alot cheaper and in my personal experiance you get pretty good stuff most of time. Around here you can get a t-case for $50-100 at yards. I bought my tranny at one and turned out to be a recent rebuild.
