tow mirror fold doesn't

tow mirror fold doesn't
I went to Sonic tonight and decided I needed to fold the mirrors on my 08 F350..
and they didn't fold.. mirror adjust both sides works ok, tow adjust works ok..
Fold did work ok week before last..
any debug suggestions?

something to try also if this happens again. when I go thru the car wash they will manually fold them if I don't catch it in time. then you have to manual extend them again for them to work right.

stop the attendent or call the number posted and ask them to let you put it in and out to see if it clears.
there are three auto washes in VT and two said no problem, one said try it and see, so we dont go there for anything.
Of the two who met us and tried it out we can fit in one with the Tow mirrors out, not all the way but sucked in works fine, a little soap gets left on teh top edge of the drivers one as the wash misses it somehow.
the other wash even with the mirrors folded in its a barely fit issue and the air dryer that moves over the truck hit one of the clearence lights, he stopped it and I backed out.
so they aren't all the same I guess.
Did the 350 come with teh power tow mirrors? or did you add them?

they look it, I took delivery of this Sd because the original guy who ordered it couldn't accept it, company moved overseas, so didnt have the option of adding them, I think in a couple years I will retrofit the power fold, telescopes, most days i dont mind getting out or asking passenger to reach out but it's a neat idea to do it all power.
my father would say its only something else to break, but this whole truck is a technology trap, might as well have fun mirrors too!
