couple weeks ago I posted a message about my ABS not working. Some one suggested that I run the truck in the grass and lock up the brakes.Great advice, worked just like you said it would. Could feel & hear the brakes pulsing. Problem is, this fix only last for a couple days. The system works great when it works, but I have to reset in the grass ever few days. No ABS light, new pads all around, new tires, stock size. I drive on average,50 miles a day. Any suggestion what might cause this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Ro...
Is that the sensor on top the rear diff? if so, no I have not, after reading a couple more posts I figure I'll do it 2morrow just 2 C. Thanks for you quick reply.
I have a 2000 model and I replaced the rotors and had the same issue. The parts stors sold me the wrong rotors. Check for a gear pattern inside rotors. My ABS sensor is on each of the front wheels reading a gear patern inside the rotors.
Stock rotors, only changed the pads.Getting ready to head into the garage ang pull the sensor on the rear diff. Thanks for the tip. Is there a sensor for each wheel? My truck is a 4X4 .2003,6.0L....Ro
