missing some parts-help!
Will the jack handle from a F-150 or other vehicle work on my F-350? I need something to raise and lower the spare tire.
Every time I read this site I get smarter, I just told the parts guy at Silver State Ford how to fix his overhead console.

what year? do you have the key that goes on the end of the handle and fits ito the tire crank assembly? has you hey assembly been removed from the truck end? look in the glove box and see if the key is there it looks kinda like the key for old fashioned loching lug nuts.

It's a 2000, single rear wheel drive. No key in glove box just dust. The spare tire is in the bed for now. I havn't checked for the lock but I can remove it if it's still there. I can't find any SD's in the bone yard were I live but I can find F-150's. Think one of there jack handles will work?

I answered my own question. A handle from a E-150 van worked just fine after I pulled the tube off and pulled the factory lock out of the spare tire lift mechinism. Tools required: 1 screw driver and 1 pair vise grips.
