No recall letters for overseas owners. If anyone can give me details of the mod as they come to light like where they put the fuse and what size it is that would be much appreciated as I will have to fix this myself. Cheers.

It's a pre made harness. Goes between the switch on top of the master cylinder and original harness. It is sealed up. Tag on harness says if fuse blows replace harness.
Took 2 mins.for them to change and wire tie in place.

my 93 7.3 has a 3 wire plug ,just unplug it. right
i just want to be safe, it did make my abs lite come on

Just received my notice last week 18MAR10
A little late. My 96 7.3PSD had the switch catch fire about five years ago. Was in a parking lot. Came out. Truck did not start. Would not even turn over. Called a buddy to tow me. Left the ignition on to free up the steering wheel. Two minutes later white smoke is pouring out of the hood. Shut off ignition. Popped hood. Put out burning switch. Disconnected lead from switch. Truck started fine. Damn switch started leaking brake fluid three years ago. I just plugged the thing with a 3/8" fine thread plug. My lead was cooked and I hate cruise control.

i got mine replaced a couple months ago. I just took my paper with me, and showed to the guy in charge. 15 minutes later i was leavin with the CC fixed. Had to wait for the guys to get back from break lol
