Smog Help
<!-- BEGIN TEMPLATE: ad_showthread_firstpost_start --><!-- END TEMPLATE: ad_showthread_firstpost_start -->My 1993 ford F250, 351 engine was showing high on the NO (ppm) though not by much. Is there a way to work this out without spending a lot of money? I am selling the truck. It only has 115,000 miles on it and is mechanicaly sound. Someone mentioned putting alcohol in the tank along with the gas just before I go to have it smogged (input?). Should I run it for awhile to heat up the exhaust? The guys at the smog shop told me I needed a new cat, but being so close on the NO reading, I'm looking to just get this thing passed without putting any money into the truck. Thanks for the help.
