Hey my tack is going craizy as in it says I'm running 1300 rpms at idle and will only go to 2000 then it drops out?

Clean the Tach sensor, sometimes crap gets on it and it makes it act weird.

Also check the wires for insulation retracting and touching each other right where it enters the nut/pickup. Some members are able to repair by cutting one wire and heat shrinking a sleeve.

PS if your truck is an automatic with an E4OD your tranny should shift better with this repair....
