I've got a 08 F250 4x4,CC,LB with 4.10. I go to Colorado elk hunting every year. Well last year was the first time with the truck and I was not impressed with the V-10 at all it did it's job but It did struggle doing it. Oh I forgot I was pulling a 16 ft trailer double decked to get three 4-wheeler's and all of our gear for three guy's on the trailer and on the truck and we take alot of stuff 12 150gt ice chest's just to give you an idea.
This year I purchased a X-3 from Mike with an 87 economy, 87 performance and a 93 performance tune. This year the guy's wanted to take my truck again something about my Ford handles the load better has more room and more comfortable than there chevy truck's.
Anyways back to the tuner I ran it on the 87 performance tune for the trip this year. All I can say is this is the way the truck should of came from Ford it handled every hill, mountain and pass(Monarch pass 11,300ft) with ease. Thats going up and coming down the mountains the trans in Tow-haul worked like a champ also.

All this with close to 1 mpg increase. I used to read on here where a programer was a waste of money for a V-10 that Ford has got all the power out of a V-10 not so. Mike can get you more power the truck is so much more fun to drive now. And for an even bigger SEG try the 93 tune.

thank you for feedback we appreiciate that.... Got to ask did you bring back an Elk? Father in law go's out there every year for the hunt.. We end up eating Elk most of the spring

 

No hunting was a little tough this year. If I gun hunted I could of scored be they were a little out of range of my sharp sticks. So now its down to south Texas every weekend for deer. Venison is ok but its not elk.

 

Nice area up there. I was just out in Lake City for 10 days playing on the Alpine Loop and other places. Was invited to Elk hunt, but had to come back to earn my keep.
