Strange problem with cd player
You will probably think I am nuts but in our 01 excursion limited when we turn to the left, like a quick turn, the cd player will start speeding through the song selections for the cd it is playing. As soon as we straighten out of it, it starts playing the song that it happens to stop on. Doing the same type of turns to the right does not affect it. We tried it at least 4 different times and it happened each time. Is it the cd player itself? Very weird.

Hmm...do you have the steering wheel mounted controls? Possibly the clockspring is screwed up at a certain point and the seek button on the wheel is being pushed... I don't think it could be the cd player.
