New Excursion owner!

I just bought a 2003 Excursion Limited 6.0L. In ya'll experiance, what are the major problems and best fixes. I'm sure you all have heard the PS bashing. How much of it is truly accurate concerning the 6.0L

Take off the cross beams from the top rack, they will rub spots in the paint.
