2001 250
Im looking at buying a 2001 crew cab xl package with 7.3 turbo, It has 240,000 miles on they're asking 8000.00 o.b.o, it has a liitle bit of rust ,passenger rear door does not work. Has a power progamer with it.
Any input on weather or not to do it is appreaciated

If it was made before March of 2001 you should check and see if the transmission has been worked on. The 01's in this date range had a bad design for the overruning clutch which fails and takes out the whole transmission.
The price would not be too bad if it is a 4x4. Have you driven it? How does it brake, steer, shift, and accellerate?
