ok so i was looking under the hood of my 78 ford f250 anf i saw the guy i bought it from used a inch block of wood for a throttle body spacer. and i cant seem to fine one online. any suggestions?
Probably not wood. Wood is not dense enough to prevent leaks, and wood is just not good.
Phenolic spacers look like wood but are not wood.
These do not transfer heat like typical aluminum units do.
You could have some difficulty looking for a throttle body spacer for a 78 truck because the truck has a carb and not a throttle body unit.
You should be looking for a "carb spacer".
