Aaaargh! @##&%*!!! engine swap....
The new V-8 mounts are a full inch bigger than the V-6 ones were, and it isn't going in without pulling off one of the headers!
Add to that the @#$%!!! tranny fell off it's blocks in the process, and I ran out of time.
Oh well, once the place dries off after Tropical Storm Gustav (I'm in Norfolk still) I'll do the job right.

The bell housing bolts are all in place, and the starter is in (I had to re-route the wires around the headers).
The tranny is mounted off center, but it will do for now. I think I can route the pipes back without a whole lot of trouble but I need to grab a couple of sections of 2 1/4" pipe to fit 'em together.
Once the whole works is streetable I can modify the rest at my liesure.
