bd wastegate question
ok im gunna sound like a complete idiot........ i got a bd adjustable wastegate actuator a while back and put it on and never fooled with it. i lost the directions and i cant rember if 1/2 a turn out "making it longer" gives you 5lbs more or gives you less. also what extent can i go making more with that thing and where would a happy medium be.

If you make it longer it will open easier and bleed boost faster, so you want to make it shorter.

aw sweet thanks clay yea i did the ccv mod and havent put the ic boots on yet and am wondering how much bst i will gain back by puttibg em on. the stk ones are shot and are leaking fo sho. but i also wanna add a little more boost to as well. so when i turn that thing shoull i do 1 turn in or 1/2 turn and how do i find a happy medium with out ghing overbord

If you do not have a programmer or chip I'd stop at 20psi. I tweaked the stock wg actuator to get 20, and with the stock tune, anything over 16 seems like I don't gain anything. I sold my bullydog programmer and haven't yet gotten a dptuner, but it will be a sweet day when I do.
