I read that two people may have died - one of them a kid with what they called "underlying medical conditions" which I took to mean he was already sick. Didn't hear anything on the other death.
I sometimes buy my meat at BJ's where a lot of this was sold. I generally don't panic over these kind of things....just cook the meat a bit longer.

Yet another food scare. Seriously, WTF IS GOING ON? THIS IS BECOMING A MONTHLY ISSUE IT SEEMS, FOOD BEING RECALLED ALL THE TIME.
I have heard on TV with the meat and Ecoli, some companies are using ultra low quality cuts, such as meat around the anus... YUCK! What is wrong with our so-called health inspectors?
They sell that crappy meat (no pun intended, LOL) at Food Lion, Trader Joes, And BJ's around me.
