v10 oil cooler
Hi everyone Im a newbie and in need of help I have a 2001 f250 v10 with an oil leak at the front of the oil cooler housing. Ford wants 400 duckets to fix. Dont have that kind of cash right now. I bought the gskt but cant find any install info ie. will the motor go up enough to get it out torque specs and sequence etc... Any info will be greatly appr. yes I am mech. inclined enough to do it just havnt done one before. thank you for any HELP

I would ask this in the V10 forum. There are a few people who've had to change that gasket at the front of the oil cooler housing (adapter? whatever).
Where is it leaking? Up at the front of the motor? Or near the oil filter itself?
