Will they fit? Tire tilemetry.

My stock tires are 235 85 R16. I desperately need some new rubber and can get a set of 265 70 R16's. Will they fit the rims width wise? Upsides, downsides?

I ran the calculator, just don't know about the width. The tire recommended specs overlap at 7" rim width, but I don't know exactly how wide my stock rims are.

The new tires are only 30 cm wider than the old ones. Your rims will be fine.

Damn metric system.. I bet you meant 30mm since 30cm is about 1 foot!

D'oh! Yep, 30mm. I already converted it to cm in my head and them forgot to call it mm.
