Question

Fuel Pump?

I've got a 95 F250 with a 5.8. When using the front tank, the truck has a hard time starting and has little power. It will die out if I give it more that 1/3 throttle. However, when running on the rear tank, it fires up fine and has plenty of power.

My thought it that the pump in the front tank is weak but wanted to get others opinions.

You're probably right. Before you drop the tank or pull the bed to replace it, I'd check your theory with a fuel pressure gauge. You should have about 35 psi at idle.
