Data tag decode....plus...
Okay, 1989 F150 I just got I know has OD, but which tranny is it? Typical AOD? It's a code "T" on the door tag. I know, sometime in this time frame they had a OD tranny that had lots of problems. Maybe it was 1990-up? Just curious.
Also, trying to determine what axles I have: 28 or 31?
axle tag: s814p 3.55 8.8 9c20
(I know it's 3.55 ratio and NOT limited slip)
I want to put a LS in it to get rid of the peg leg. Just not sure what spline? Did all the trucks come with 31? Don't want to pull it apart to find out.
