Turbo Question

I got a 92 7.3 IDI Non turbo. Bought a turbo kit off a Factory 94 IDI. My Question is are the injectors Bigger on a turbo Motor ? And is the Pump different ? In Pressure? Should I put the turbo on with the origanal injectors/pump or the new turbo injectors/pump.... Thanks for any info

The injectors on a turbo truck are different im not exactly sure what code they are but u can pick up a whole set from someone like pensecoladiesel.com or some other website as for price they are not that bad. as for the fuel pump i think it is the same yet im sure if u were to add the turbo u could turn the pump up just a tad and keep ur stock injectors for now but i would think u wouldnt be able to achieve full power with the injectors u have now..

G code injectors were on the first factory turboed. Some say they aren't any better than a set of "BB" because the "G" may have been a lower emmission injector. If you put a turbo and pyrometer gauge on you engine you can turn up your injection pump to get more fuel. Search threads for "turning up the pump". When you do this you only go 1/6 of a turn at a time until you get just a haze of smoke at full load/throttle. you want Egt's to stay below 1200* for any length of time.
