Wow. Very True. I looked for a year, and finally found almost what I wanted, then turned it into what I've always wanted with a lot of hard (and fun) work.
Keep looking and wait. A good SD is what you want. I couldn't've said it better.
06silvercrew, how do you like the EGR delete? Do you have experience before and after it installed? Any comments? I have the new Stainless "tube" EGR Cooler, which is supposedly bulletproof, but there is still the soot-in-the-engine issue, higher temp's all around, etc. There are some good articles "for off road" EGR deletes, and they say it has better low-end turbo spooling. Other articles/people's experience say that it doesn't do much. What is your take, since you have it? Have you had to pass 'smog' in NC? I think 'smogging' diesels is coming to CA next year. I don't think anyone's really sure yet.
