I agree my friend. It gets to be a little much at times.

There are those who say the only thing worse than extended bouts of Christmas music is a root canal...

funny...

I think I'd rather have the root canal...

At least with root canal, the pain GOES AWAY.

A root canal is usually accompanied by laughing gas and good pain meds for later, with Christmas music, the pain is endless.

They do it for the same reason I open my tree lot a week before thanksgiving. Because they buy it. Your customer has money to spend it is going to be with me before them!

Plus, it seems all the artificial trees are pre-lit for some reason.
I can kind of explian that...i worked in a warehouse for over 2 years and they order early to make sure they have enough stock in time and they pile up and have to go somewhere so stick em on the floor. At the Family Dollar Distribution warehouse, we started getting christmas trees and lights and decorations in june usually.

We take fresh shipment every week. never had an issue with any of my trees being too dry to sell or drying to quickly. it is in all how you take car of them before you sell them. we water ours while they are on the lot. besides, your not going to buy a tree in mid december that was cut out of my first load. that stuff was long gone and sold. duh

I wasn't saying that the fire hazard was on your lot, but in the houses of the people that bought your first batch.

I understood you, and I am telling you that my trees are fine. Where you run into the problems that your talking about is when you buy from a big box store or someone who does not take very good care of their trees from harvest to the lot. It makes a huge difference in how you store them and how you schedule your shipping, harvesting, how you display them ect.
