e4od ok when cold wont shift when warm???
I just bought a 93 f-350 with a 7.3/e4od. I had to put the tranny in couse the one in it was bad.when i first put it in the truck ran great for a few miles,then it stopped shifting into od.I let it set in the driveway for an hour or so,then took it back down the road and it shifted great for a mile or so then started again.Can this be some of the sensors or electrical in the od system or just sound like some trash that had been in the tranny that I didnt see with the pan off that has been sucked up into the filter and falls away as the truck sits for an hour?(there was some water in the pan where it had been rained on when the cover blew off)Thanks for any ideas you may have.
