Power Mirrors Jerking

Ok, so my power mirrors are extremely unsmooth when auto adjusting for reverse and back. Sometimes they might not go back to the correct location either. Has anyone had this issue previously? Do you think I could solve this problem by taking it apart and cleaning/greasing the motors or are they about done and need replacment?

That function has been problematic which probably contributed to it being discontinued. Not sure of any fixes. There are discussions about it here and there in the forums. I just stopped using mine.

When you say stopped using yours, do you mean disabled the auto reverse feature? I have been thinking about picking up a couple of 08 mirrors and replacing them but i'm goning to try and repair these mabye even rebuild them with similar motors.
