I would like to see some pictures of one for now.
If I think its possible, and I can get my hands on one. I'll take it to my special Elite Secret Weapons and see if they can fab some up.

Helps knowing master machinists, master welders, yada yada.

The 3 brothers though, they should have their own TV show, between the 3 of them, I am 110% sure they could do anything.
And You wouldn't need to put in fake drama. The one brother would create plenty. haha.

The U-bolt bracket, on the drivers side I think.

I need a picture of one not on the truck though.

They are really hard to find.

 

i bought one at my local stealer ship last month . i have a picture in some of my old post when i was looking to get mine

 

They haven't been made for many years now, and they are damn near impossible to find.

If you got one, man, you are sooo lucky.

 

they still make it they were the same from 1980 till 1998 the part munbers just changed is all

I think the Super Duty trucks used the exact same part, should still be available.

Which U-bolt bracket are you asking about? The bracket that Ford refers to as a spring cap that fits below the front spring?

I'm gonna assume this is what you want.

Next question: With (EOTZ5A316A) or without (F2TZ5A316A) a front stabilizer bar?

EOTZ5A316A = fits 1980/97 // F2TZ5A316A replaced EOTZ5A316B = fits 1980/97.

Both of these spring caps are obsolete, but I found a whole mess of 'em at FoMoCo dealers and obsolete parts vendors. > >

Obsolete parts are only hard to find...if you don't know where to look for them.

Tell me which one you want, I'll list all the sources that have it.

 

From everyone I've always talked to and everything I read, they were impossible to find. Most of the people in here did not have much luck ever finding them. Even the junk yard guy I know who did the conversion said it was impossible to find them.

But Bill, I will answer it, it would be niether... He needs the F350 part number instead, since he is doing a Dana 60 swap, and the F250s had the Dana 50.
