Just keep in mind there is a difference between manual and automatic transmission cabs. Floor pan is dfferent.

Same cab

The 1999 to 2001 cab interchange is flawless. The floor pans are also the same. There is a plate that is screwed in when no manual 4X is being used. You will find 3 or 4 holes that need to be taped with threads if your putting a gasser body on a diesel chassis. Best to gut it down to bare steel inside and transfer as much as you can from your wrecked truck. Very little interchanges from the gas body. I'm putting the finishing touches on one now that was a 99 7.3L 4X4 that got a 2001 5.4L donor body. BE CAREFUL! The bodys weigh more that you might imagine. Keep your finger clear while setting it. A two post lift is ideal.
