Transmission questions

Hey there,
I have a few questions about my transmission. First, will the mercon V oil work in an M5OD transmission? If so, is it any better? If not, is synthetic Mercon IV any better? Im asking because I am going to change the clutch out soon, and wanted to get that fluid out while I'm down there.

Speaking of clutches, will an 11inch clutch fit in my truck? Will it provide any benefits, like longer clutch life?

One more. sorry for all the questions, I just really want to make my truck perfect. The other issue that I have is that the first and second gears are hard to shift into the gears? I'm thinking the shift fork is the issue. Is it something easy to change?

Thanks in advance. I really appreciate your help.
