Does anybody know where I can find any clear or smoked cab light lenses for my 97 F350? I looked everywhere but all I could find was lenses for the damn super duty's and that was it.
Why not smoke em yourself? Go to your local parts store and look for the cans of VHT. I don't remember what they call the can that gives your lenses the smoke look, but I did it mine on a Jeep Cherokee a few years back and they came out great. You couldn't even tell they were the originals and when you do it you can control just how dark they get depending on the amount of coats you use. Two coats was plenty for me.
LMC has clear ones. LMC Truck Parts - Page 84
They are some generic light that looks like the original ford ones, but they use an old style push and turn bulb, not 194. The housings will have to be modified to use your original 194 socket, or you can go use the old style socket that comes w the new lights. BTW the 73-97 cab light comes as a complete light assembly, not just a lens
It's called VHT Night shade. you depending where you live if you find it you better buy it cause some states are making it illegal to sell. like stupid va.
I just bought a can of vht yesterday.I put on 1 coat and got and I think they look pretty good. Thanks guys, better spending 12 dollars, than whatever the new ones would of cost me.
