brake light wiring
The brake lights stopped working on my truck.I checked for power at the switch on the pedal and one side has 12volts and the other has 8volts even when the switch has been unplugged.Must be a short somewhere,any ideas???

well after laying on my back for most of the day the lights are working again!!
I found a red with yellow stripe wire under the dash that was broken,someone had used a connector on it before that cut its way through the wire.I have no idea what the wire does but don't really care as long as the problem does not come back.
