motor swap??
I have a 223 I6.This motor has proven to be a basket case with a cracked head or block 3 diffrent size push rods and much more.I cant complain to much it did get me home when i bought it.I have access to a ford 300.Does anyone know if the two motors use the same mount?Im trying to do this cheap only want a vintage daily driver

We need a little bit more information to be able to give you a proper answer. Like what year is the truck you are working on and what year the 300 6 is. It is likely that you will have to fab some mounts at least for the engine because the 300 engine has mounts on the side of the block where the 223 has them on the front of the engine. I guess it all depends on what year of truck you are working on. This will at least bump it to the top again and perhaps someone else can answer your question as well.
