Intercooler install
I found this :96322_Ford-v4-web.pdf (application/pdf Object)that has some good directions & cutting templets for an intercooler install. Also has part numbers for the Banks "spider" & other stuff. I am going to install a 6.0L intercooler in mine after I round up the rest of the parts.

I have not installed one yet, but it doesn't look impossible. Those instructions that tbone gave us are straight forward with lots of info.

Its not to hard, just time consuming. I fabed up brackets for the bottom of the intercooler and had to bend the hood release lever up some. The intercooler pipes were not bent just perfect but the boots at the bottom were forgiving. I bought the spider (?) at Ford's of all places (cheaper if you can believe it) but my tubes were a little short. I fabed up some exhaust pipe and used two sets of boots on each side to connect everything up. I'm putting out 30psi of boost and haven't blown a boot off yet. I used a system off of a 99. The results are not mind blowing but it defianty helps, especially on those hard pulls. Good mod!
