alrighty then ive been having problems with my 2000 7.3.(cant get it to crank) since ive got it back from having a new pcm idm and injectors put in.i was backtracking all the wiring hopped in the truck and noticed no wts light came on.is that why my truck wont crank?bad pcm?
The most common cause tends to be a burned out fuel bowl heater element. IIRC it's fuse #30 in the fuse panel under your dash. You'll need to do 2 things right now:
1. Unplug the fuel bowl heater
2. Put in a new fuse.
Since you live in Georgia you probably won't need the heater while there, but if you travel in your truck to cold climates, you'd be best off replacing the heating element & then plugging it back in. Otherwise, I think you're safe just leaving it unplugged & wrapped in electrical tape to avoid shorts.
