Brake booster question

I'm getting ready to purchase a power front disc brake kit fro POL for my 64 F100 2wd. I'm leaving the stock rear drums (all new). The kit gives me the option of selecting a 7, 8 or 9 inch booster. Whats the differance and is one better than the other?

The bigger the booster, the less foot you use IMHO. I am running a 7 inch dual diaphram on mine due to the valve cover clearance issues with the 460 in there. Just a tiny bit wide to run a 8 inch booster.

Hi airharley, I`ve got a 66 with a 429/C-6 and am in the middle of the disc brake conversion myself. My donor trucks booster is to big also. May I ask which brand/model booster you used, thanks.
