Odd front suspension question.
I have a 76 F-250 CamperSpecial 2wd and I would like to put an international DT360 with a Spicer 6+1 speed trans behind it. I would also like to run a 10.5 or 10.25 rear axle and the bolt pattern off of a late 99-04 SD truck with all the brake goodies that come with them. I NEED to be able to abuse the front suspension with up to 1600 pounds just in motor and trans on top of it because I enjoy driving hard.
What are my options for front suspension swaps/builds?
It needs to be a reasonable price, and plenty sturdy.
I had thought about swaping out the double I-Beams from the late 99-04 SD trucks.
I would appreciate any opinions I get.
