Delvac for $6

I was in Wal-mart buying syn rotella for Mercedes' winter change the other day and saw they had gallons of 15w40 delvac for $6. To boot delvac has a rebate going on.

Here is the link for the rebate:

Only a couple of days left to get in on the rebate.

I have never tried the Delvac, must say that is a good deal. I am using the Delo 15w40 in my 02 F350 7.3 so far so good. I would feel comfortable to say the Delvac is also a good 15w40 choice.

Anybody ever use this brand? Would it hurt to change from Rotella for a couple changes if I stock up on the good deal?

Brad, I just posted this same thing on Sat. Didn't know about the $3 rebate (damn reciept is in the trash). Might scour the local shops and try and get more, with the rebate you can't beat that.

It shouldn't hurt you to change over to the Delvac. I first started with MC 15w40, Shell Rotella 15w40 and now have used the Delo 15w40 last few oil changes.
