I have ordered a 2010 Super Duty 6.4 diesel
The salesman said the motor came with a 100,000 mile warranty
I have seen a few things online that seem to say the motor warranty is 60,000 miles
Does any one know what it is?
60K warranty is Ford's standard powertrain warranty. Covers everything from the engine to the wheels. This includes the transmission, driveshaft, rear axle, front axle, T-case, etc.
The 6.4L PSD engine is covered under a different 100,000 mile warranty. This is exclusive to the PSDs; the gas engines are covered by the 60,000 mile powertrain warranty.
You can find both the warranty guide and owners guide at www.motorcraftservice.com. Go to the left side menu and select "owner guides"
