glruff, I do not have any pics of my camper but will get some on here, 29ft TT with one slide out. My wife and I actually traveled around the US back in 2001, so I have a good list of campgrounds and place to visit. But here in Florida we liked staying at the Encore parks. Orlando Encore on rt 192. (Sun and Fun), here in Sarasota, and we have great beaches as well here.
We really liked Colorado Springs as well, you must drive up to Woodland Park when there, and visit Garden of the Gods as well. And we have allot more places as well.
Our pop-up is a little one, 8' closed, 16' open. We wanted it small and light so we can tow it with our CJ-5. After 1 Jeep Jamboree of sleeping in a tent on the ground, both Steve & I decided that we're too old for that crap. I don't have any pictures of it but will try to remember to take a couple next time we use it, which may be next month for the Turkey Rod Run.
Recently, we picked up a slide-in for the F250. When we get the Early Bronco done we want to go places to play and we can't trailer the EB and pull the pop-up at the same time so this is the best option. I think its like an 87 model, but its real clean and looks great. I was surprised at how much room these things have in them, even has a bathroom, shower & all. I'll try to get a pict of it this weekend even if it is just on stands right now. Heck we haven't even used it yet. May be getting its maiden voyage for the Turkey Rod Run. Which camper we take will depend on if the Bronco's ready to go or not. If its ready, we want to put it in the show.
This was at a MX race in Lake City in September.. This trailer got most of it use in the Deserts of Southern California taking the boys out dirt bike riding. Since transfering with the Coast Guard to Florida last year it has not had much use except a couple of state parks here and there.
Not sure of the year but I believe it's an early 90's Jayco JayHunter 950. Not sure of the weight either but it makes her squat pretty good. lol. Best part about it is I don't have to register it as a seperate vehicle, just move my tag from the truck to the camper and i'm set for camping or hanging out at the beach for a day BBQ'ing. It's really big inside, which was one of the reasons I bought it and the 4X4 makes it easy to take anywhere.
All you campers we will be looking into a weekend camping meet in Nov. on some private property one of our members has access to. From what I understand there are quite a lot of acres with room for some 4 wheeling and quad trails, there is already a bronco club who has meets there. So keep an eye out for this, and plan on attending.
