1970 Find!
This is my first post.
I need to hear from those that may own a 1970 F-100. I found what I believe to be a great deal but my knowledge of the older models is limited.
The truck I have found is the 1970 Custom Cab, long bed, 390 CID engine. It also has a 3 speed, column shift transmission with overdrive. Is this a particularly rare combination? Is the transmission reliable? What are the weaknesses (if any) of this combination?
Any feedback would be appreciated.
Also, I currently am the proud owner of a 1995 F-150 XLT, 351W, longbed (stock for now). Where is the best place to get upgrades for the engine and body on this model?
Thanks for the help, Colin
