sluggish 5.8

I checked codes and got 32, 53, 83 looked these up on chart indicated EGR EVP orPFE signal voltage below closed limit or has gone beyond set limits or problems with EGR valve controlling, 53 throttle position sensor signal voltage to high; 83 EGR control solenoid-open circuit failure or EGR shut off solenoid-circuit failure. WHAT THE HECK? I looked at the checks in the only manual I have "Haynes" and they require a vac gauge which I don't have and they seem pretty complicated. Would these problem codes affect performance? A friend suggested maybe the catalytic con. is restricted. My truck has the 4 bolt single cat and the replacements look like they cost 200.00 and up. The 93 f 250 has a 3.55 rear end, 8300gvw and has 190k on it. I put new plugs wires rotor etc new fuel filter pcv valve clean air filter. I drove from SC to PA and back; ran ok and didn't use any oil. I have a camper on back and small trailer it just didn't seem to have much power on hills. I don't know if I am expecting too much from the old truck.
