Changing 4x4 switch

No just the switch will pop out without removing entire bezel. Small pocket screw driver and she pops right out.
I have the one I removed from my truck when I converted it over to manual shift if you need one for cheap. PM me if interested.

Its not that bad if your mechanically handy and can do a little light fab work. But its not the most simple project.

That's the trick! Thank you. I just changed it. I had a new one in the tool box and my old one, the light burned out in it so I figured I'd change it. Popped right out but there was another wiring harness clipped into the back of the little panel too that I don't know what is for. Only thing there is the switch.

Pretty sure the other harness is for parking aid or power sliding rear window. When I went and got a plain panel to go in place of my switch when I did my conversion seems like those were couple of the options for that panel.
