For young owners

I know when you first try to get parts for you trucks money is always an issue, but, here is a little known tip.
If you have a parts store near you, go talk to the manager or owner and see if you can do some odd jobs for him to get said parts. You will be surprised how many will do that for you! My son did little jobs for Advance and Autozone, granted they were the grunt jobs, he got most of his parts for no or little money.

Good tip to pass along, not only to get the parts they need, but a little lesson is learned here, it is called Pride, for doing something on your own.

Thanks

Sounds like good advice, though I can't see that happening around here unfortunately. I worked all summer to be able to afford parts for my truck, and it definitely paid off. Actually finally got to drive it to school for the first time today.

That is a great idea! Now days, people are too busy looking at the big picture, that they have lost creativity in other aspects, including creative ways to get things they need.
