Leaf springs,, how do you check them??

Leaf springs,, how do you check them??
2004 6.0l F250 CC
I've been looking to buy larger tires and have done a fare amount of reading both here and on the 6.0L and excursion forums. I've read a few threads on spring sage and know that will effect what tire size I can run, but I haven't found a dimension to verify if my springs are sagging or not. My truck used to list to the drivers side, but I have corrected that by adding a block on the rear drivers side as explained in a TBS I found. I did make my own as opposed to paying Ford $300 for nothing more then a solid steel block. The TBS detailed measuring all four corners and gave a reference for the difference in the dimensions but never said what the correct dimension should be. Is there a stock measurement between the center of the wheel and fender lip or between the spring mount and frame?
