Serious shakin'!!
Hey guys I have a 2001 f150 supercrew with a 3" body lift.. For the last little while my truck has had a serious shake in the rear-end. I've seen where people have talked about this but nobody has described it quite like my problem. everytime I hit even the smallest bump in the road, road reflector, roadkill, even a hard shift by my automatic transmission will set it into a serious almost dangerous shake. It doesnt matter how fast or slow im goin. The only way to get it to stop is with a hard acceleration or brake. Or a hard jerk in the wheel to the left. All which are very dangerous crusiein at 75mph on the interstate. Please help! If you need any info about my truck or the problem let me know. THANKS!!

If you hear a ticking or sqweak when rolling real slow ,it's possibly a u joint.
I had a bad shake at take off in an old mustang,it ended up being the pilot bearing..
I dont even know if they use pilot bearings in the newer vehicles...
