opinions wanted.........

hey all, i'm posting this here because this is the forum i use most and I value alot of ya'lls opions. Looking to buy a 96 F 150 longbed straight six 125,000 miles, pretty straight truck little rust and a few dents on the bed, drives great 4 nearly new tires. I love the straight six motor. been around this truck for the last 4 years beings how its one of the work trucks on the farm i have been at for the last four years, i know about how its been driven and what not. Basically its going to be my farm truck so i can leave my "good" 2000 out of the field. Think i can get it for around 1000. Good deal? I kinda think so.

No doubt. Especially if the rust is confined to the bed.

Man I'd be on that like stink on pooh. Any truck around here that runs will bring $1000. If it's a solid truck, 96 model, its well worth it. And that 300 I-6 is one of the greatest motors ever produced IMHO. Havin' history with it is just sprinkles on the icing.....
