different computers, same truck
Hello, I've recently found my computer is bad, and I was wondering if I could put the comp from my parts truck which is a 4.9 manual tranny from 95, and mine is a 4.9 manual tranny from 93. Upon looking for parts, I found that there were about 15 different computers ford used during these years. What is different between the years if all the sensors, parts, etc. are exactly the same? Would it hurt to try the other computer in my truck, or am I gonna fubar the system? Thanks.
