Squeaking on right turns only?
My 78 F250 4x2 has been squeaking more and more on right hand turns. The brakes are in perfect shape and it sounds like it's coming from the front left, but hard to tell. Could this be the sound of bad wheel bearings?

Typically this sound is common with bad wheel bearings. When a load is applied to the bearing, like during a turn, the forces create a noise. During straight line driving, the bearings can share the load, and the noise is not as loud.
My guess is that you have a wheel bearing that is on its way out.
Have you jacked the truck up to see if the bearing / hub is loose?

yeah. it'll squeak for awhile like that. if it starts clunking though, the bearing is done, so drive it as minimally as possible till it gets fixed after that. id get on that ASAP though, if it is the bearing, which it very much sounds like it is.
